KLINE expands services with acquisition of Wolfman and Associates
Manassas, VA - We are pleased to announce that Kline Engineering & Consulting has acquired Wolfman and Associates, a highly respected structural engineering firm with nearly 40 years of experience in the East Coast market.
Known for its specialization in wood-framed building design, structural renovation, and forensic evaluations, Wolfman and Associates has completed structural engineering for over 6,000 projects nationwide. Their expertise spans a variety of materials, including concrete, steel, and wood, and includes both new construction and complex investigations of existing buildings.
This strategic acquisition enhances KLINE’s ability to serve a broader range of project types and materials, while further strengthening our commitment to innovation, precision, and client service. It broadens our client base and enhances our capabilities in mixed-use and podium projects. Wolfman will continue to operate as a division of KLINE, ensuring continuity for existing clients and ongoing projects. With this branding, we honor Ron Wolfman’s notable legacy as an expert and innovator in structural wood design.
Malcolm Colombo, a senior engineer who worked closely with Ron Wolfman for nearly a decade, has officially joined the KLINE team to support a seamless transition and integration. Malcolm will continue leading efforts on current Wolfman projects and help expand KLINE’s wood design services.
Beginning in 2025, Wolfman will operate as a division of KLINE, maintaining continuity for existing clients and ongoing projects. This move represents a meaningful step in KLINE’s growth. It expands our presence in the structural engineering market and enables us to offer even more comprehensive solutions, from post-tensioned concrete and complex analysis to wood-framed systems and structural restoration.
