SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER

Malcolm Colombo brings nearly a decade of experience in structural engineering to KLINE, with a specialty in wood design and a strong foundation in commercial and residential building systems. In early 2025, following KLINE’s acquisition of Wolfman and Associates, P.C., Malcolm officially joined the KLINE team, bringing with him deep technical expertise and a commitment to delivering practical, high-performing solutions. His addition has strengthened KLINE’s wood design department and broadened the firm’s capabilities across residential, mixed-use, and light commercial projects

Before the acquisition, Malcolm spent nine years at Wolfman and Associates, training directly under founder Ron Wolfman and gaining hands-on experience in structural design, analysis, and client service. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Youngstown State University and is proficient in a range of structural software, including RISA, RAM Concept, SBeam, Strucalc, Tedds, Revit, and AutoCAD.

Malcolm is driven by the creative problem-solving that engineering demands and is inspired by timeless feats like the Pantheon, which reflect the enduring impact of great design. His approach is rooted in curiosity, precision, and collaboration—values that align closely with KLINE’s mission.

What sets Malcolm apart is not only his technical expertise but also his approachable, team-oriented personality. After years of collaborative project work, he was drawn to KLINE by the firm’s integrity, depth of knowledge, and forward-thinking culture. He’s especially excited to contribute his wood design experience to the team and continue delivering impactful solutions for clients.

His personal motto? “Everyone is a hero if you catch us at the right time.” At KLINE, Malcolm is here to do just that—step in at the right time and help bring smart, sustainable structures to life.
