Karla Ampuero’s desire to understand people and the driving factors behind events in our world has led to an exciting career in communications. As a consumer behaviour and market research enthusiast, she focuses on one of the most important assets of today – utilizing social media to build connections and personal relationships. Karla is fluent in both English and Spanish and has over six years of experience at a leading global information and research agency.

With her mother being an accountant and her father being an engineer and builder, Karla originally expected to pursue engineering but realized during her senior year of high school that her true interests lay in intrapersonal studies. This partially stemmed from witnessing the powerful impact of media and communication in her home country of Venezuela. Karla earned a Bachelor's in Communication from Andrés Bello Catholic University where she learned the many ways of using communication to reach people from all walks of life. She later moved to the U.S to continue her education, earning associate degrees in Business Administration and International Studies from Northern Virginia Community College.

Hailing from the beautiful, balmy Caracas, Venezuela, Karla is passionate about traveling – both for enjoyment and to grow as a well-rounded individual by studying new places and cultures. Sharing these experiences and inspiring others through various platforms is a fulfilling bonus to traveling. She has a never-ending quest for knowledge, believing in continual education, whether from work, travel, or day-to-day life. Karla looks forward to learning and sharing at Kline Engineering and embraces the values of family, collaboration, and a work environment based on trust and commitment.
