SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER I
Joseph DuBois, P.E., is a licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia with over five years of structural engineering experience and a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure and government projects across the DMV region. A magna cum laude graduate from the University of Dayton with a degree in Civil Engineering, Joseph combines technical rigor with practical field knowledge to develop efficient and constructible solutions for both public and private clients.
At KLINE, Joseph has become a key resource in bridge shoring design, working extensively on projects led by various Departments of Transportation throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. His knowledge of DOT standards, project coordination with public agencies, and experience managing site-specific challenges have made him a trusted advisor on structurally demanding scopes. He has led the design and review of temporary works, structural support systems, and access platforms, ensuring compliance, safety, and constructability on active infrastructure projects.
In addition to his work on transportation structures, Joseph has streamlined KLINE’s condition assessment process, focusing on parking structures and aging concrete systems. His improvements to assessment methodologies have enhanced project turnaround times while maintaining rigorous technical quality, providing clients with clear, actionable recommendations for repair and restoration.
Joseph’s design expertise includes a wide range of materials and applications: concrete, steel, wood, and FRP systems across new construction, renovations, and forensic evaluations. He has worked on everything from podium structures and formwork design to retaining walls and structural repairs, demonstrating both versatility and technical depth. His software proficiency includes ADAPT Builder, ADAPT PT/RC, Tedds, RISA 3D, and AutoCAD, which he uses to support advanced modeling and practical design solutions.
Outside of work, Joseph is a dedicated Eagle Scout and parishioner who enjoys swing dancing, playing classical and acoustic guitar, and tackling construction projects at home. His love for the outdoors finds its perfect match in hiking and camping, which he credits as his ultimate source of peace and renewal.
