JOSEPH DIAZ

PROJECT ENGINEER I

Joseph Alonso Diaz is a Civil Engineer I at KLINE with a background in structural modeling and public infrastructure design. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from San Marcos University in Peru and is fluent in both Spanish and English. Originally from Lima, Joseph is an active member of the Peruvian branch of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), reflecting his commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Before joining KLINE, Joseph worked on a variety of public-sector projects in Peru, including hospitals, schools, and correctional facilities. He also served as a BIM modeler, developing 3D models for concrete structures and mechanical systems. His proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and ETABS supports his ability to produce accurate, coordinated models that improve project delivery and communication.

Joseph chose civil engineering as a way to contribute to his community through thoughtful infrastructure design. His interest in advanced structural systems, particularly post-tensioned concrete, led him to KLINE, where he continues to build his skills in a collaborative environment.

Outside of work, Joseph enjoys learning, music, and staying active. Coming from a musical family—his mother a singer and his father a guitarist—he values creativity and discipline in all areas of life. He also practices walking meditation as a way to reflect and stay grounded.

At KLINE, Joseph is focused on contributing to high-quality design work while growing his expertise in innovative structural systems and engineering best practices.
