Diego Legonia,

Assistant Manager/Detailer

Diego Legonia provides clients with high-quality deliverables and a respectful approach because he cares about their business as much as if it were his own. He is calm, humble, and above all, very respectful of others. Diego learned to have a good work ethic while employed at Palmas Del Espino, a factory in Uchiza.

Diego was born in Tingo Maria, a city between the Andean Highlands and the Amazonian jungle, and grew up in Uchiza, a small, tranquil city that gave him a worry-free childhood filled with sports, culture, traditional dances, and natural beauties. His parent’s constant advice, unconditional support, and deep love have shaped who Diego is today, for which he is grateful. He studies Economics at the National Agrarian University of the Jungle and has learned about formwork, structural design, and their direct impacts on building safety and durability. Diego’s favorite engineering feat is Dubai's Palm Islands project due to the vast, creative, and impressive design, as well as the advanced technology and knowledge used to overcome the challenge of protecting the reclaimed island from the sea.

Sports, especially soccer, have always been a passion for Diego, who played on the soccer and volleyball teams for his university. Sports taught him the valuable lessons that come from great successes and losses. Diego also enjoys traditional Peruvian dances. Coming from humble beginnings, being accepted into the university is, without a doubt, Diego’s greatest success, which he continues to build upon. The challenges at Kline Engineering motivate Diego to continually grow as he contributes his skills in formwork detailing and design.
