ALBERTO PONCE
PROJECT ENGINEER II
Alberto (“Albert”) Ponce is a Project Engineer II at KLINE Engineering, based in Miami, Florida. He brings over 15 years of experience in civil and structural design across international and U.S. projects. Originally from Argentina, Albert grew up surrounded by warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for knowledge, values that continue to shape his professional approach today.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and is an active member of both the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Argentinian Structural Engineer Association (AIE). Before joining KLINE, Albert worked at Solver, YHCE, and Desimone, gaining extensive experience in structural analysis, design, and coordination using tools such as AutoCAD, ETABS, Enercalc, SP Column, RISA, and Excel.
Albert’s fascination with the balance between science and purpose inspired him to pursue engineering. He admires iconic works like the Garabit Viaduct by Gustave Eiffel, a structure that symbolizes the innovation and elegance he strives to achieve in his own designs. His favorite part of the profession is creating structures that not only meet technical demands but also enhance how people live and interact with their built environment.
Outside of work, Albert enjoys exercising, going for walks, and visiting the theater or movies with his wife. A strong believer in kindness and support, he values genuine relationships and the joy of helping others, both personally and professionally.
