The new hotel brand stayAPT Suites, a NC-based hotel venture features a home-like layout with separate living room, bedroom, workspace, kitchen spaces, and outdoor courtyard areas focusing on long-term lodging guests.

StayAPT Suites in Lackland, TX. is a wood-framed, three-story hotel with 88 rooms and a below-ground parking garage with 89 parking spaces. With an average size of over 500 square feet, each suite is designed with an open-concept living room that provides a residential feel to business, relocation, and leisure travelers who want to live life on the road.

This location is one of the stayAPT 18-plus, 100% ground-up new construction on track to open in the coming months, which will offer two- and three-story construction models ranging from 59 to 89 units.

Kline Engineering & Consulting is responsible for the design of post-tensioned slabs on expansive soil to withstand the estimated vertical soil movements, minimizing damage to the structure.

Our team developed PT-style foundation designs for expansive clays for five (5) of the new stayAPT Suites locations in Texas: Lackland, Killeen (3-story, 76 units), Bryan (3-story, 70 units), Brownsville (2-story, 59 units), and Live Oak (3-story, 76 units).
