We actively support our local community through the following organizations:

Rotary

Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders. Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

There are 33,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. As signified by the motto Service Above Self, Rotary's main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.

Prosperity House

For the past 22 years, Prosperity House has been providing the "bricks and mortar" to individuals and families seeking sustainable housing in the Prince William County Area through property acquisition and rehabilitation. Prosperity House was founded in 1987 with the mission of increasing available, sustainable, affordable housing for low to moderate income individuals/families of Prince William County and the Cities of Manassas and Manassas Park. During this span of time, Prosperity House has also housed several local nonprofits, including SERVE, Inc., Habitat for Humanity, and House of Mercy. Prosperity House also rented properties to SERVE, Inc. to house their own transitional housing clientele. Since 2007, Prosperity House has expanded its program by purchasing additional properties and refurbishing existing properties to increase housing units available and now directly rents/manages properties and recruits, enrolls and supports residents in its own transitional and affordable housing program.

Historic Manassas, Inc.

Historic Manassas, Inc. was formed to promote a positive image of downtown Manassas and to perpetuate its revitalization. To reach these goals, the organization proudly plays a leadership role in community issues. HMI also acts as a clearinghouse for valuable information and services that retailers and property owners can use to improve their businesses and buildings. HMI promotes Old Town Manassas by sponsoring special events throughout the year to bring local residents and visitors downtown, and to reinforce the identity of the historic area. HMI also organizes a co-op advertising program for the businesses of Old Town, making both television and print advertising affordable to small business owners.
